Wrocław Scholarship for research on inclusion

Marta Konikiewicz, a doctoral student at the Department of Systematics and Ecology of Invertebrates, have become a laureate of Ludwik Hirszfeld scholarship for outstanding achievements in the area of biological and medical sciences of the Student Scholarship Program.

The winners of the Quarry Life Award

Houses for lonely bees and shelters for bumblebees, rare species, flower meadows and a 3D map of research areas – and all this on the grounds of the Górażdże mine. Students and graduates of WUELS have won the Quarry Life Award.

65th anniversary of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences

The history and traditions of WUELS go back to a pair of famous colleges: the Dublany Agricultural College and the Veterinary College in Lviv. However, its independent history began in 1951 when the Academy of Agriculture was established.

The Journey – young scientists about climate

They came from all over the world. The French, Dutch, Spanish, British and Germans, but also Canadians, Indians and Japanese. For a week the University of Environmental and Life Sciences hosted the young scientists participating in a summer school devoted to issues regarding climate protection.

Collaboration with Dresden universities

During a visit of representatives from the United Nations University at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, a trilateral agreement of collaboration has been signed – particularly significant in terms of the geographical neighborhood.

Double diploma: Polish-Chinese studies

The first diplomas of Masters of Landscape Architecture with a specialization in Chinese and Polish traditions in shaping of the landscape have been received. Three of our students were given jobs and are going back to China, and students from China, who are fascinated with Poland, will stay in our country.
