New Polish-Chinese studies at UPWr – enrolment

Landscape Architecture has been joined by Horticulture and Animal Science. Now, within those two fields of study it’s possible to choose a Polish-Chinese specialty and spend a year in China.

As part of Wrocław Biotechnology Centre, the Leading National Research Centre title holder, an area unifying all universities and research institutes has been created. The result: creation and realization of Environmental Interdisciplinary doctoral studies aimed at 30 doctoral students.

New parametric evaluation of UPWr faculties

Comittee for Evaluation of Scientific Units has graded units’ scientific and research-development activities,  Wrocław University of Life Sciences’ faculties included. The Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science, as a composite unit, has been awarded with the highest grade – A+.

Springer and “Map Functions” by Professor Krzywicka-Blum

“Map Functions” of Professor Krzywicka-Blum has been published by the prestigious Springer Publishing. The publisher had to receive permission from Queen Elizabeth II.

The Journey 2017

For the fourth time the final of the international Climate KIC summer school took place at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. The program connects undergraduates, doctoral students and young entrepreneurs interested in climate issues from all over Europe.

Professor Michał Heller’s lecture at UPWr

Rev. Professor Michał Heller, physicist, cosmologist, one of the most outstanding Polish scientists. On September 15 at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences he will give a lecture called “The Man on the Universe Stage”. 11 am, the John Paul II Aula, admission is free.

On 22 April - the International Earth Day, the March for Science will be held in 500 cities all over the world. This way, scientists and students want to voice their opposition to discrediting science.
